Soccer Camps Offer Summer Venues

HAMPSTEAD, NH - (Thursday, April 25, 2007) - New Hampshire Phantoms Soccer School and Caramba Soccer Skills Camp are pleased to announce a new partnership to offer the Granite State six different summer camp venues for 2007!

With a combined 25 years of camp experience, Phantoms and Caramba will provide a most exciting experience to campers with a mission to foster soccer development in an enhanced learning environment. Campers will be able to interact with staff members from the NH Phantoms Men's Professional Soccer Team.

Caramba brings a unique approach to the game and structures itself around South American teaching methods which encompass technical and tactical work emphasizing fun while incorporating a competitive environment.

Venues include:

Week 1 - June 25-29, Manchester, NH Technical Institute, Grades 1-8, 9 AM - 12 PM

Week 2 - July 9-13, Windham, Golden Brook School, Grades 1-8, 9 AM - 3:30 PM

Week 3 - July 16-20, Londonderry, West Road Fields, Grades 1-8, 9 AM - 3 PM

Week 4 - July 23-27, Concord, St. Paul's School, Grades 1-8, 8 AM - 2:30 PM

Week 5 - July 30-August 3, Nashua, Mines Fall Field, Grades 1-12, 9 AM - 3:30 PM Week 6 - August 6-10, Atkinson, Pope Fields, Grades 1-8, 9 AM - 12 PM; Grades 9-12, 5 - 8 PM

A Microsoccer Program will be offered at each of the venues except Nashua. Microsoccer is designed to teach basic skills to children ages 5-7. Emphasis will be on making each player comfortable with the ball while learning the basic techniques of heading, receiving, passing, dribbling, and shooting. The program will run 9 AM - 12 noon Tuesday through Friday.

Fee includes a camp T-shirt and a NH Phantoms home game ticket. Cost for the full day camp is $180 per camper per week, one-half day camp is $115 per participant per week and Microsoccer is $115 per camper per week.
