Utah Snowbears News Release
Ike Austin and the undefeated Utah Snowbears of the ABA announce the signing of Former Utah Jazz forward David Benoit today. Benoit, and 8 year NBA veteran and a teammate of Yao Ming on the Chinese National Championship team in 2002, will join the Snowbears Saturday and will play his first game Thursday against Bellevue at Salt Lake Community College.
General admission tickets for that game will be $1 and a part proceeds will go to Toys for Tots through the Ike Austin Foundation.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
