Beloit Sky Carp News Release
BELOIT, WI - With every spring, the Snappers bring 26 new members in the Beloit community and this spring will be no different. In an effort to become more involved locally, the Snappers are happy to announce a Host Family program that will allow families in the community to house Snappers players.
The Host Family program is a vital part of many Minor League Baseball teams throughout the US which allows young players to not only become a part of the community but a part of the family as well. Host families will become a part of the Snappers' family with activities such as invitations to special events, on field recognition, and will receive VIP discount cards.
If you are interested in becoming a host family or would like more information, please contact Natalie Tobey at 608-362-2272 or by email at ntobey@snappersbaseball.com. You can fill out a Host Family questionnaire and return it to the Snappers at 2301 Skyline Drive, Beloit, Wisconsin 53511.
The Beloit Snappers are a member of the Midwest League and are a Class-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. Opening Day at Pohlman Field is set for April 11, 2013 at 6:30pm, when the Snappers face the Burlington Bees, the Midwest League affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. For ticket information, contact the Snappers' offices at 608-362-2272 or visit our website at www.snappersbaseball.com.
