Snappers Add To Board Of Directors

The Beloit Professional Baseball Association is proud to announce the addition of Brian Christianson as a member of the Association's Board of Directors. Christianson fills the spot vacated by Tony Grover, keeping the number of directors at 24 with three open positions.
Christianson, who resides in Edgerton, Wisconsin, is the owner and president of CGP Partners, LLC, a public relations firm started in 1997 that works to connect the concerns of businesses and families with government action and policy. He served as the Executive Director of the Republican Party of Wisconsin from 1991 to 1995, along with holding the position of Field Director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee in Washington D.C. from 1995 to 1997.
Brian also serves as the elected Supervisor of the Town of Fulton, appointed Chairman of the Rock County Housing Authority and the elected Chairman of the Rock-Koshkonong Lake District.
Grover's resignation was accepted at the January 26th, 2010 board meeting as he decided to step off the board to pursue other interests at this time. Christianson's nomination was brought in front of the board at the December 2009 board meeting and voted on at the January 26th, 2010 meeting.
The Board of Directors for the Beloit Professional Baseball Association is in charge of running the Beloit Snappers Baseball Team, the class A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins and member of the Midwest League. The Snappers will begin their 29th season of professional baseball in the Stateline Area on Thursday, April 8th in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with the home opener coming on Sunday, April 11th at Pohlman Field.
