Snakes take order and flip burgers for charity

COLUMBUS, Ga. - Snakes will be trading their sticks for spatulas and pucks for patties Friday, July 28th at Columbus area McDonald's Restaurants. Stop by McDonald's and you will find Jerome Bechard, Ryan Aikia and Craig Stahl flipping burgers for a cause from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Cottonmouths Head Coach and General Manager can be caught in his hairnet at the McDonald's location on Macon Road in Columbus. If you would rather taste a double cheeseburger made by defenseman Ryan Aikia, be sure to visit the McDonald's restaurant on Airport Thruway. But if you are riding along Milgen Road and get the urge to place an order with Craig Stahl, be sure to stop in the McDonald's at the corner of Miller and Milgen Road.

The guys are slaving over the grill and on the drive thru speakers in support of the "Round-Up for the Ronald McDonald House fundraiser. On June 30-July 3, July 13-15 and July 27-29, 2006 McDonald's will be asking customers to donate the change from their purchase to the local Ronald McDonald House.

The "Round-Up" fundraiser hopes to raise $15,000 so that the local House can provide a "home away from home" for families that are traveling to the Columbus area for specialized medical care for their children. These Cottonmouths are made for scoring goals and with these guys behind the counter, the Ronald McDonald house is on the right track to scoring their goal. This Friday, don't forget to drop by one of these McDonald's locations, support the Ronald McDonald house and catch a glimpse of a Snake behind the counter!
