Snakes Release 2008-09 Home Schedule

Columbus Cottonmouths News Release


The Columbus Cottonmouths are pleased to announce their home schedule for the 2008-09 regular season. The Snakes are scheduled to play 30 games at the Snake Pit, and will kick off the season at home Friday, Oct. 24 against Huntsville.

The Snakes will host their rival, the Huntsville Havoc and the defending SPHL-champion Knoxville Ice Bears seven times each, while the Twin City Cyclones will visit the Snake Pit six times, and the Richmond Renegades and Fayetteville FireAntz travel to Columbus five times each during the regular season.

The Cottonmouths will be on home ice for several holidays, welcoming Knoxville on both Thanksgiving and Christmas night, and taking on the FireAntz at home on St. Patrick's Day, Tuesday, March 17.
