UPCOMING GAMES AND PROMOTIONS

Thursday, March 7 - Columbus at Huntsville, 8:35 PM EST (Season Series vs. HSV: 4-0-1)

The Cottonmouths head to Propst Arena at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville to face the Havoc on Thursday night in just the second (and last) trip to Huntsville for the Snakes this season. The Snakes were 3-1 winners the only other time the two teams met in the VBC this season back on February 23. The Havoc are fairly secure in the eighth and final playoff spot in the league as they are seven points clear of last-place Augusta and are well within striking distance of seventh place as they are just two points behind the Mississippi RiverKings with three games in hand on them.

Friday, March 8 - Mississippi RiverKings at Columbus, 7:30 PM EST (Season Series vs. MRK: 2-2-0)

The Cottonmouths and RiverKings play the rubber game of their season series on Friday night in what will be the Snakes' first home game in their last six. As with the Snakes in Huntsville the night before, this will mark the second and last time this season that the `Kings will visit the Columbus Civic Center. The Snakes took a come-from-behind 4-3 win in the only other meeting between the two teams this season in Columbus back on February 9.

PROMOTIONS: "Free Stuff Friday" with free St. Patrick's Day Cottonmouths t-shirts to the first 1,000 fans!

Saturday, March 9 - Mississippi Surge at Columbus, 7:30 PM EST (Season Series vs. MSS: 3-1-0)

The Snakes will face the other Magnolia State SPHL team on Saturday night at they tangle with the Mississippi Surge. Just like the RiverKings (and the Snakes in Huntsville), this will mark just the second time the Surge has skated on Snake Pit ice this season. After not playing each other since before Christmas, the two teams faced each other on Saturday in Biloxi with the Surge winning for the first time in four tries against Columbus so far this season.

PROMOTIONS: Sam Bowles Bobblehead Night! The first 1,000 fans will receive a bobblehead of the Snakes captain. It's also Guns and Hoses Night as the Snakes have worked together with the Columbus Police Department and Columbus Fire and EMS for special tickets and group rates for the game. Also, the Cottonmouths will auction off their special St. Patrick's Day jerseys after Saturday's game that they will wear for both weekend home games Friday and Saturday.
