Knoxville Smokies News Release
The Tennessee Smokies have added reliever B.R. Cook to the roster from Triple A Memphis. He replaces Jeremy Cook (no relation) who pitched for the Smokies Tuesday night and was returned to Palm Beach after the game. An updated roster is attached. The Smokies open an eight game homestand tonight against the Orlando Rays at Smokies Park. Tennessee has a 2 1/2 game lead on first half division champ Carolina with 32 games remaining in the first half.
