
Smokies Add Petrick To Roster

Knoxville Smokies News Release
Sevierville, Tennessee -- The Tennessee Smokies Professional Baseball Club, the Class AA Southern League Affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, have added RHP Billy Petrick to the roster.
The 23-year-old is a native of Morris, IL. He is in his sixth season of professional baseball. The Chicago Cubs selected him in the 3rd round of the 2002 draft. Petrick was also selected as the 5th-best prospect in the Cubs minor league organization by Baseball America in 2004. Petrick will be joining the Smokies from the Daytona Cubs (A).
There is no other roster move for the Smokies at this time.
