FIRE TO FIRECATS: The Fire had their five game winning streak snapped on Saturday night with a 62-55 loss at Florida. The loss dropped the Fire into a tie for first place with Green Bay in the East Division. The Fire started the game with a 14-0 lead but the Firecat defense stiffened to secure the win for Florida.

SHOWDOWN IN TITLETOWN: The Fire's loss to Florida has dropped them into a tie for first place in the East Division with Green Bay. The Fire will meet the Blizzard this Friday night in Green Bay with the East division title on the line. The Fire defeated the Blizzard 45-39 on April 29 in Freedom Hall. The game will kick off at 9:00 and can be heard on 1080-WKJK or at louisvillefirefootball.com.

PLAYOFFS: For the third straight season the Fire has secured a berth in the ArenaCup Playoffs. The Fire is now fighting for the division title and seeding in the playoffs. The ArenaCup playoffs will start the first weekend of August.
