Chicago Slaughter News Release
HOFFMAN ESTATES- On Friday, June 17th, the Chicago Slaughter's mascot Sarge will be kicking off the Relay for Life Hoffman Estates at the Prairie Stone Sports & Wellness Center, 5050 Sedge Boulevard in Hoffman Estates. This special 24-hour event supports the American Cancer Society and is a way for the Chicago Slaughter to show their support to those that are survivors or family members of those affected by cancer.
Jon Zaley, Director of Ticket Sales & Event Promotions with the Chicago Slaughter, said, "When one of our Special Ops Girls, Nicole Paukovits, approached me about the team getting involved with fundraising for the local Relay for Life organization, I was all for it. Both of my parents passed away from cancer. We had a special Relay for Life Night at our May 14th game, and now Sarge coming out to help ACS kick-off their big event Friday June 17th. It's the least we can do."
Come out and cheer on Sarge and all the supporters of the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life Hoffman Estates this Friday night, June 17th!
