
Slammers Continue Winning Streak Friday Night vs. Gateway

Joliet, IL - The Joliet Slammers presented by ATI Physical Therapy opened their series vs the Gateway Grizzlies with a 6-5 win Friday night.
The Grizzlies scored quick in the top of the first inning posting three runs that was highlighted by a Joel McKeithan two-run single.
Joliet responded with a four-run fourth inning that included a two-run sacrifice fly by LJ Kalawaia that scored London Lindley and Chaz Meadows.
The Slammers would tack on another run in the bottom of the fifth thanks to an RBI single by Meadows that scored Trey Fulton, making it 6-5.
Tonight's Merchants and Manufacturers Bank Player of the Game is London Lindley who went 2-5 with two runs and two RBIs.
The Slammers are back home tomorrow to continue their series against the Grizzlies at 7:05 p.m.
