The Alabama Slammers used a balanced scoring attack as five different players scored goals and 12 different players had points in a 5-1 win over the Orlando Seals Friday night at the Pelham Civic Complex. With the victory, the Slammers extended their winning streak to 6 games.
The Slammers blew open a close game with three third period goals, sending the Seals down to their ninth defeat in their last 10 games. Jason Elders had the only goal for the Seals, his fourth goal in the last two games. Alabama goalie Jamie Ronayne stopped 19 out of 20 shots for his 19th win of the season.
The Slammers will host Lakeland Saturday at 7:05 p.m at the Pelham Civic Complex. It's FOX 6 family night with the Slammers. Fans can purchase 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, and 4 cokes, for only $39.
