
Skyrockets Open Training Camp

Minot Skyrockets News Release
Minot, ND - November 16, 2006 - The Minot Skyrockets will open up training camp on Friday, November 17th. Players arrived in town today, and more players will be brought in through the next couple of weeks. More than 20 players will be competing for the 10 available roster spots. The Skyrockets will be holding 2-a-day practices until the first road game on December 1, 2006. Practices will be held at various locations throughout Minot. Fans who are interested in watching practice can call the Skyrockets office for available dates and times.
Single game tickets are now available for sale. Fans can check out www.MinotSkyrockets.com for ticket prices and seating layout. The season opens at home with a double-header against the Indiana Alley Cats. The Skyrockets will play at 4:05 pm on Sunday, December 3rd and at 7:05 pm on Monday, December 4th. Fans can purchase tickets for these games and the entire season by calling 839-SLAM or visiting the Skyrockets office in the lower level of the Minot Municipal Auditorium.
Seats are still available for the 4 Bears Casino Exhibition Game. A Fun Bus will leave from Sports on Tap on Friday, November 16, 2006 at 3:30pm. Tickets for the Fun Bus are $15 per seat and include the trip down, the game, and a post-game reception.
The Minot Skyrockets introduced a new website today with updated information. Continual updates will be placed on the site, so check back for new roster updates, game previews, and various events. Please visit www.MinotSkyrockets.com for information about the team and the season.
The Minot Skyrockets and the Rockettes Dance Team will be holding their first public appearance at Dakota Square Mall's Magical Day of Giving. The team will be handing out posters and signing autographs at the mall from 1-3 pm on Saturday, November 18th.
