Sioux Falls, SD "" The Sioux Falls Skyforce (10-10, 71.0, 3.6) takes on the Idaho Stampede (11-8, 71.5, 3.8) tonight at 7:05 pm at the Sioux Falls Arena.

"Major" Improvement Skyforce forward Renaldo Major is having a breakout season in only his second year in the CBA as he is currently averaging 13.7 ppg and 5.5 rpg in 20 games (16 starts). He has played a team-high 726 minutes this season and only played 644 minutes last season with the Gary Steelheads in 36 games (8 starts). Major was thrown into the starting lineup after Stephen Graham was called up and he has not disappointed coach Joerger.
.500 Record The "ËForce finds themselves back at .500 as they evened their record at 10-10 after two road losses in Bismarck. They were last at .500 back on November 30th as they dropped to 3-3 with a loss to the Idaho Stampede in Boise. Every team in the CBA has been at .500 at least once this season as every team split their first two games of the season. Yakama was a league-high eight games over .500 as they were 11-3 before two setbacks to Idaho. On the other end of the spectrum, the Michigan Mayhem were a league-high 10 games below .500 as they were 3-13 before defeating Gary on Christmas night.
Idaho Rolling In the early stages of the season it appeared that the Idaho Stampede would be left behind in the standings after starting out 1-4, however they have won five games in a row and seven of their last nine to move into second place with a 3.8 quarter-points average. They beat Yakama on Monday night 120-111 (6, 1) at home to end the Sun Kings eight-game winning streak and then went on the road to beat the Sun Kings Tuesday night 114-111 (5, 2) without the services of Josh Davis (17.3 ppg, 7.3 rpg). The "ËForce will host the Stampede again on January 2nd.
