He's Back
Tonight marks the return of âForce rookie forward Stephen Graham who will be in uniform tonight after a short stint with the Houston Rockets. He was called-up by the Houston Rockets on Saturday, December 10th after an impressive start to his rookie season in the CBA. Prior to his call-up he was averaging 21.0 ppg and 5.8 rpg in 8 games (8 starts). In his short time with the Rockets he averaged 2.8 ppg and 1.2 rpg in 6 games (0 starts).
Glass Cleaner
Last Thursday Idaho center Eric Chenowith had a career night as he pulled down a CBA season-high 29 rebounds in defeat. He had set the previous high when he pulled down 25 rebounds against the Dakota Wizards back on November 26th . He established a new franchise record for rebounds in a game with 29, however, that is not a CBA record. The record for most rebounds in a single game is 33, which was accomplished by Jerome Lane back on March 20, 1996, also against the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
New Faces
'Force fans will recognize a few new faces tonight as they will have three new players since the last time they played Idaho this past Thursday. Along with Stephen Graham's return, the âForce signed guard Corey Williams (6'3", 217) and forward Mark Sanford (6'10", 220). Williams was in training camp with the Toronto Raptors and is most well known as a popular Streetballer in New York City. Sanford was a second round NBA Draft pick in 1997 and spent some time in the CBA with the La Crosse Bobcats during the 1998-99 season. To make room for the new players the âForce released Jemeil Rich and Kevin Melson.
