Sky Single Game Tickets On Sale April 10th

CHICAGO, April 8, 2008 - Regular-season single-game tickets for the Chicago Sky's 2008 season will go on sale on Thursday, April 10 at 10 a.m. (CDT). The Sky will tip off the team's third season on the road Sunday, May 17 against the Seattle Storm and play the season home opener on May 22 against the Sacramento Monarchs at 7:00pm at the UIC Pavilion.

Single game tickets can be purchased by calling 866.SKY.WNBA, at chicagosky.net, in person at the UIC Pavilion Box Office, and at all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets can also be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at 1-877-WNBA-TIX (962-2849).

The on-sale date is scheduled for the day following the 2008 WNBA Draft on April 9 and televised live on ESPN2 at 12 p.m. (CDT). The Sky has the second overall pick along with the 19th (second round) and 33rd (third round) overall selections.

Sky season tickets are available starting at $190. Season ticket holders receive many exclusive benefits, including the Sky's best ticket value, the same seat for all home games, discounts at the Sky Store, passes to a closed Sky practice, a private post-game ice cream party with the players, a kids-only clinic, and a private networking event with Sky senior management.

Other ticket packages include the Sky's half-season package, the U-Pick 8 Pack, which starts at $96 and includes reserved seats for any eight home games and passes to a closed Sky practice. Sky Guy's Friends and Family pack is also available now, with four tickets, four t-shirts, free parking, and four food vouchers, all for $88.

The Sky is offering a new ticket purchase option this season, for Sky fans who want to buy tickets in advance while preserving the flexibility to attend games at their convenience, Sky ticket vouchers are available for all seating areas. They can be purchased in any increment (minimum of 4) and are easy to redeem.

The Sky has many options for group outings, from pre-game, on-court experiences to fundraisers to kids' birthday parties, casual picnic-style gatherings or corporate receptions. Sky fans can also choose to watch the game from the Skyline Club, the Sky's unique, courtside skybox, with dinner and beverage service. Each Skyline Club ticket includes an assigned seat in one of three courtside rows, and open seating at 26 tables in the Club, along with parking and unlimited food and beverage. New this season, the Sky is offering a season ticket package just for professional women. The Women-to-Women package includes a seat near center court with other working women, access to three private networking events, and a listing in the Sky's online Women- to-Women business directory, along with all the benefits of being a season ticket holder.
