Sixth Win for New England Surge; Streak Continues Surge Holding 2nd Place in

Worcester, MA. New England Surge of the Continental Indoor Football League, (CIFL), won their sixth game in the row against the Lehigh Valley Outlawz on Saturday, June 2 @ LeHigh Valley. Streak continues for interim Head Coach Roy Lucas, Jr. since releasing Rick Buffington in late April.

The New England Surge hold the second position in the CIFL Atlantic Division behind the Rochester Raiders who will play the Surge at the next home game at the DCU Center on June 16. Surge has visions dancing in their head of a playoff game on July 7th at home.

About CIFL Play Offs

July 7th The top four teams in each division play in the play offs as follows:

„« The 4th place team play 1st place team at the 1st place team¡¦s home field

„« The 3rd place team plays the 2nd place team at their home team

July 14--Top two division play off winners play against each other for Atlantic Division Championship

„« Same as above for Great Lakes Division playoffs

CIFL Championship July 21 or July 28th Atlantic Division against Great Lakes Div

Surge Home Games & Practice

The Surge is back home on June 16 playing number 1 Division standing Rochester Raiders, then away June 23 against NY/NJ Revolution. The Surge¡¦s regular practice schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at The DCU Center Worcester MA from 7¡X10PM. Press are welcomed.
