April 21, 2008 The New England Surge Win Home Game 35-14 Defeating Lehigh Valley Outlawz Surge Undefeated with 4-0 record Remaining in First Place in the Atlantic Division

Worcester, MA. The New England Surge of the Continental Indoor Football League, (CIFL), came back for their first home game with a 3-0 record and first in the Atlantic Division and defeated the Lehigh Valley Outlawz 35-14 on Saturday, April 19, 2009 at the DCU Center in front of a crowd of 2,818. Roy Lucas, Jr, Owner and Head Coach states, "After being on the road for the first three games, it was great to give the fans at home a winning game." Lucas continues, "And the team is revved up and ready to win against the Flint Michigan Phantoms next week." The Surge defeated Flint 38-24 in their first game of the season. The next home game is Saturday, April 26 @ 7:30p.m. against Flint who have a 1-5 record.

The New England Surge has promised another year of hard hitting playing action on the field as well as high energy fan participation off the field! The DCU Center field transforms into a fun-filled fan interactive, continuous music, prizes, topped with the best of action-packed football at family friendly ticket prices...as low as $10.50.
