Sirois Storming Back into Twin City

Mark Richards, Head Coach and GM of the Twin City Cyclones Professional Ice Hockey team, is announcing the return of Captain Allan Sirois for the 2008-09 campaign. Sirois, who hails from Riviere-du-Loup, Quebec, appeared in 52 games with the Cyclones' last season, posting 59 points. "We are fortunate to have a player of Allan's caliber. He's a great leader and we look forward to his third season with our organization," commented Mark Richards. During the 2006-07 season with the Cyclones, Sirois played in 53 games with 78 points. The 6'-1", 220lb. forward spent much of his career in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) with stints in the American Hockey League (AHL), as well. The 33-year old has received numerous SPHL league honors, including the Sher Wood Player of the Week and Sher Wood Player of the Month. "I am happy to return to a great organization. My ultimate goal for this season is to bring a championship to Winston-Salem," remarked Sirois. Sirois is also excited to host the first annual Twin City Cyclones Junior Hockey Camp. The camp is being offered to players 7-14 years of age and will take place October 11-12, 2008. A $50 deposit is due by August 16 to reserve your spot.
