
Single-Game Smokies Tickets to Go On Sale March 4

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. -The Tennessee Smokies, Class AA minor league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, announce that single-game tickets for the 2009 season will be going on sale next Wednesday, March 4, at 10:00 a.m. Fans will have the ability to first purchase tickets online at www.smokiesbaseball.com starting on the 4th, then via phone or at the stadium ticket office one week later, starting on the 11th.
2009 ticket pricing will remain the same as last season. Adult field-level and bleacher-level seats will be $10 and $8, respectively. Field-level and bleacher-level seating for children (12-and-under) and seniors (55+) will be $9 and $7, respectively. Fans will again be able to take advantage of an advanced-sale discount of $1 if they order tickets at least four hours in advance of game time.
The 2009 season promises to be a memorable one, as the Smokies welcome Cubs Hall-of-Famer Ryne Sandberg to Smokies Park as its new manager. The team will also be celebrating its 10th season at Smokies Park, and rolling out 70 nights of great entertainment as part of its "#1 in Fun" campaign in 2009. Opening Day is Wednesday, April 15.
