Single-Game Monarchs Tickets On Sale Wednesday

SACRAMENTO, CALIF., April 4, 2006 - The Sacramento Monarchs and all 14 WNBA Teams will put single-game tickets for the League's historic 10th Anniversary Season on sale Wednesday, April 5 at 10:00 a.m. PDT. The Monarchs 17 regular season home games, as well as tickets for the Monarchs vs. Liberty preseason game to be played at ARCO Arena on Friday, May 5, at 7 p.m. will go on sale at this time.

The quickest and most convenient way to purchase Monarchs tickets is by visiting www.SacramentoMonarchs.com or by calling Ticketmaster Charge-By-Phone at (916) 649-TIXS, (530) 528-TIXS or (209) 551-TIXS. Tickets are also available at the ARCO Arena Box Office, open Monday thru Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sacramento-area Ticketmaster outlets.

The Monarchs will also host the Connecticut Sun in a WNBA Finals Rematch at University Arena, "The Pit" at the University of New Mexico on Tuesday, May 9, at 6 p.m. PDT. Fans may purchase tickets to this game by calling (505) 925-5626, or by visiting www.unmtickets.com .

With tickets starting at just $10, Sacramento Monarchs games offer fun, affordable, summer entertainment for the whole family. Each fan in attendance on Opening Day will receive a 10th Anniversary commemorative pin and a Monarchs Championship replica ring giveaway on Saturday, May 20. Opening Day will also feature the Monarchs Championship Ring Ceremony scheduled for 12:15 p.m. (tip-off is at 1:00 p.m.).
