The 2006 WNBA Draft is set for Wednesday, April 5 beginning at 1 p.m. ET. The Detroit Shock Draft Headquarters will be located on the second floor offices at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Television coverage of the Draft begins at 1 p.m. on ESPN2 during the first round (1-2 p.m.) and switches to NBA TV and ESPNU for the second and third rounds (2-3 p.m.).
Detroit currently has the third pick in both the second and the third rounds (Nos. 17 and 35 overall) having traded its first round pick to the Minnesota Lynx last season in exchange for five-time WNBA All-Star Katie Smith.
