Stampeders linebacker Juwan Simpson and his fiancée Alena Thomas are thrilled to announce the arrival of their first child, daughter Laila Michelle Simpson.
Laila was born at 7:40 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25 in Huntsville, Ala. She weighed six lbs., 15 oz. and measured 20 inches. The Calgary Stampeder Football Club heartily congratulates Juwan and Alena and wishes the family all the best.
