Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
Simon Olsson scored the only goal in the first and third periods, pushing the Chicago Steel past the Waterloo Black Hawks 4-3 Friday.
Olsson netted the game-winner with 38.3 seconds remaining, just after a Chicago power play had ended.
Jan-Mikael Juutilainen, Nick Larson and Brock Montpetit scored for Waterloo in the second period, tying the game each time. Max Nicastro and Tim Buttery scored the Chicago goals during the middle period. The teams put in the final three goals of the second period separated by just 1:02.
The Black Hawks return to the ice less than 14 hours after the conclusion of Friday s game, two states away, against the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets in Columbus Saturday.
