
Silverbacks sign first new player for 2007 Season

Felix Joyner (Buffalo State U.) signed to play football for the Miami Valley Silverbacks who are entering their second season at Hobart Arena in Troy, Ohio. Joyner a native of Rochester, NY will play running back and wide receiver for the Silverbacks.
Joyner rounded up a good career at Buffalo State University where he had 2,694 career rushing yards, 1,115 career receiving yards, and 1,723 career kick return yards. "We are excited about Felix joining our roster for 2007. He is an explosive back that is very versatile. He will be a great addition with his multi-purpose abilities and positive attitude," said Head Coach Matthew King.
Joyner brings a rich history of football to the organization with cousin Seth Joyner (Philadelphia Eagles).
The Silverbacks, a member of the Great Lakes Indoor Football League, are gearing up for their 2007 home opener on March 30th.
