Silverbacks' re-sign key players

Dayton Silverbacks News Release
(Troy, OH) The Miami Valley Silverbacks professional indoor football team has signed three returning starters from last season.
Dan Fry (WR), Luke Scarborough (DL), and Seth Ellis (QB) will all return to the Silverbacks for 2007.
"We want to change up our roster this year," said Silverbacks General Manager and Head Coach Matthew King. "We want to bring in younger and more localize talent, but these guys are the ones that our foundation will be built on."
"Dan is one of the hardest working guys in the game," King added. "He will do whatever it takes to win, and he will play whatever position that you put him at."
"Luke, in my opinion, is one of the best defensive linemen at this level. He is a run-stopping guy that will also constantly apply pressure," said Defensive Coordinator Carl Allen.
"Seth is special. He signed with us last season, and although he was a rookie, we threw him in the fire early." King added, "We are very excited about having him this season. He is a tall lefty and reminds me of a guy (Ohio State's Steve Bellisari) that I had that is now playing for the Arena League."
The Silverbacks, a member of the Great Lakes Indoor Football League, are gearing up for their 2007 home opener on March 30th. Silverbacks' season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at Hobart Arena, or at (937) 718-7044. Season ticket information is available on the Silverbacks website at www.silverbacksfootball.com.
