Description: This position is primarily responsible for the creative direction of the Silverbabes dance team. The coach will work within the confines of the Silverbacks marketing and branding scheme and strive to build a professional dance team product that is an integral piece of the Silverbacks brand.
Term of contract:Seasonal employee. September 1 through July 1.
Required skills:Experience and/or education in choreography, coaching, cheerleading, management, stretching & flexibility,
Job Responsibilities:
1.Assist Silverbacks front office in setting the creative direction of the Silverbabes dance team.
2.Assist in promoting and conducting Silverbabes auditions.
3.Assist in creating structure for Silverbabes auditions.
4.Assist in coordination of Silverbabes auditions.
5.Assist in selection process of Silverbabes dance team.
6.Create and choreograph no less than eight professional, exciting and attractive dance routines to be performed for a diverse audience.
7.Set Silverbabes practice schedule and communicate said schedule to PR Director and Game Day Operations Director.
8.Attend all Silverbabes scheduled practices and keep attendance log.
9.Review Silverbabes guidelines and handbook with each dance team member.
10.Assist front office with securing sponsorship for Silverbabes.
11.Assist with Silverbabes photo shoot.
12.Accompany Silverbabes dance team to 50% of scheduled appearances.
13.Assist front office with selecting Silverbabes uniforms, including uniform selection, vendor selection, sizing, ordering and receipt of equipment.
14.Work in conjunction with PR Director to promote and scheduled Silverbabes for public appearances.
15.Work in conjunction with PR Director and Game Day Operations staff to coordinate Silverbabes game day schedules.
16.All other duties as assigned by Silverbacks front office.
