The Atlanta Silverbacks Champions League allows teams from various leagues around the region to compete on one stage and see who will be the champion among champions. The prize money totals $25,000: $15,000 for the winner, $5,000 for the runner-up, $2,500 for the third-place team, and an additional $2,500 for the winning team's league.

Since its inception in 2005, the annual tournament has been a huge success, drawing thousands of people to Atlanta Silverbacks Park. Last year, Future Stars Premier of the Georgia Metro Soccer Association beat Real Tapatio 5-2 in a decisive finish. This year's Atlanta Silverbacks Champions League will run from September 10 - October 20, and all games will be played on certain Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

The Atlanta Silverbacks will hold a press conference on Tuesday, September 4th at 6:00 pm to draw the groups for this year's tournament. Michael Oki, Director of Atlanta Silverbacks Park, will be there to answer questions. For more information call 404-969-4900.
