Silverbacks hosting MMA Night Saturday March 29

The Miami Valley Silverbacks will hold their first Mixed Martial Arts night in conjunction with Bushi Combat and Walker MMA on Saturday, March 29.

The Silverbacks (1-1) will be looking to bounce back from a tough 52-48 road loss last week at Fort Wayne when they entertain the Saginaw Sting (2-0).

The evening will include a special halftime demonstration of some of the forms of mixed martial arts used in the cage. World Muay-Thai champ Robert Walker will demonstrate his area of expertise. Niko Boscorino and Neal Craft will also put on a demonstration of ju-jitsu during the intermission.

In addition, tickets to Bushi Combat II: Return of the Warriors will be on sale throughout the evening, and all three fighters will be available for autographs following their halftime demonstration.

Bushi Combat is one of the hottest mixed martial arts show in America, and their show on Saturday, April 5 will once again be held at the Dayton Convention Center.

The evening kicks off with former American Idol contestant Mia Coleman singing the National Anthem. Ms. Coleman, a Wayne High School senior, advanced to Hollywood week after auditioning in Philadelphia.
