Silver Knights Head to Baltimore in Need of Series Sweep
After two incredibly close matches versus Florida last weekend, the Silver Knights cannot afford any more losses this season if they hope to make the playoffs. That means going to Baltimore and defeating the defending champion Blast, twice.
While that's a tall order for any club in the MASL, Syracuse has been competitive in just about every match it has played this season. It will take a supreme effort and a little luck, but this team has the potential to stun the Blast.
The last time these two clubs met was on Dec. 29. The match was tied 3-3 late in the fourth quarter, with Baltimore getting the game-winner and then tacking on a couple of goals when Syracuse opted to put on a sixth attacker in the last few minutes.
