South Bend Silver Hawks News Release


South Bend, IN – The South Bend Silver Hawks are continuing their efforts to bring quality and family entertainment to Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium. Beginning Saturday, July 17th and for 4-of the next-5 weeks, The Cove will serve as Michiana's largest movie theatre when the Silver Hawks present "Field of Dreams."

"Field Of Dreams," starring Kevin Costner, is considered to be the ultimate baseball movie. It is about life, redemption and the great game of baseball.

In the following weeks, the Silver Hawks will continue to show post-game movies on Saturday evenings at The Cove.

The Silver Hawks continue their busy July home schedule as they have a seven game homestand versus the Dayton Dragons and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. Wednesday is the opener of a three game set against the Dragons, with Wednesday serving as double header night at The Cove. It is also Pepsi Workforce Wednesday at The Cove. Fans who purchase tickets at the Coveleski Stadium box office, will receive a free ticket when they purchase on with a Pepsi-proof of–purchase. Also, the first 95 fans to purchase using their proof-of-purchase, will receive a bottomless cup of their favorite beverage. Plus, any military that attends the game in uniform or presents military identification at the box office will enter the park at no charge along with any family members. Game time Wednesday is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
