South Bend, IN – The South Bend Silver Hawks made another roster move for the 2004 campaign when the Arizona Diamondbacks removed infielder Augie Murillo from the disabled list and reassigned infielder Mark Reynolds to the Yakima Bears of the Northwest League.

Murillo returns to the Silver Hawks roster after missing several weeks with a stress fracture in his left foot. Murillo comes back to a Silver Hawks lineup in need of punch in the middle. Before he was placed on the DL, Murillo was hitting .267 with 3 home runs and 25 RBI.

Reynolds leaves the Silver Hawks after playing in 4 games. The Virginia native hit .067 with a double and five strikeouts to his credit. The 16th round selection finished his Virginia Cavaliers career with a .283 average and 35 career home runs, while driving home 137. In his first year at Virginia, Reynolds was named a Freshman All-American by Collegian Baseball and became Virginia's all-time leader in home runs for a first year player.
