
Silent auction items announced

SYRACUSE (NY) - The Syracuse Chiefs announced today some of the great items that will be included in the Silent Auction at their 46th Annual Hot Stove this Friday, February 2nd at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool. The Silent Auction will begin at 5:30 PM and bidding will close at 7:00 PM.
All proceeds from the Silent Auction will benefit Duerr Park, a Little League field used by Liverpool Little League, which recently had its main scoreboard and sponsor signs damaged by vandals.
Items up for bid include baseballs autographed by George Foster, Orlando Hudson, Adam Lind, Lyle Overbay, and New York Mets # 1 prospect Mike Pelfrey. Other autographed items include a 2006 NFC South Champion New Orleans Saints lithograph football with laser-etched signatures of the whole team including Reggie Bush, Drew Brees, Marques Colston and NFL Coach of the Year Sean Payton, a football autographed by Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly and a basketball autographed by NBA All-Star Chris Bosh of the Toronto Raptors.
In addition to the items secured from other professional teams, the Chiefs have teamed up with BENEFIT GOLF & AUCTIONS to include special framed items featuring Babe Ruth, Cal Ripken, Mickey Mantle, Ty Cobb, Tiger Woods, Vince Lombardi, Ted Williams, Fenway Park, the Sopranos and former U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower.
Tickets for the event are $45.00 for adults, $20.00 for children 12 and under or a table of 10 can be purchased for $400.00 and are available for advance purchase only at the Chiefs Ticket Office at Alliance Bank Stadium, by phone (315) 474-7833 or online at www.syracusechiefs.com. The Silent Auction begins at 5:30 PM and dinner will be served at 7:00 PM.
