
Sidewalk Spectacular Set for Saturday

Moline, IL-The Mallards are gearing up for the biggest hockey party of the summer! The fun begins on Saturday at 10 a.m. and lasts until 5 p.m. in the courtyard adjacent to the Mallards Nest. Mallards Head Coach and General Manager Brian Curran will be there along with Mallard forward Patrick Nadeau and a host of guests. Mallards fans with a strong throwing arm are also encouraged to attend as a special guest will be appearing in a dunk tank.
From 10 a.m. until noon United Hockey League President and Chief Executive Officer Richard Brosal will be in a dunk tank. Mallards fans are invited out to check their accuracy while trying to get Brosal all wet!
At 11 a.m. the Mallards will be introducing a new alternate logo that will adorn the team's jerseys this season. Be one of the first fans to view the new logo this Saturday!
The rest of the days activities include a cook-out featuring free food for Mallards fans! A live band will also take the stage after the logo unveiling. Mallards Head Coach and General Manager Brian Curran will also be on hand to meet and greet fans. Patrick Nadeau will be signing bobbleheads and pucks that will be given to fans for FREE!
Mallards merchandise will also be on sale. Game-worn jerseys will be sold at a discount of AT LEAST 50%! This is one of the greatest discounts on game-worn apparel in the history of the Mallards Nest. Come early to get the best selection of jerseys.
Mallards season tickets are on sale now. Fans that purchase tickets by September 30th will have their season ticket price locked in for as long as they continue to renew their season seat. For each season ticket sold before the September 30th deadline, the Mallards will contribute $100 to Gilda's Club of the Quad Cities. The Mallards open the 2005-06 season on Friday, October 21st in Flint vs. the Generals. The 11th home opener in franchise history is slated for Saturday, October 22nd vs. the Motor City Mechanics. Keep checking qcmallards.com for updated news on all team events.
