
Join Scrappy at the Danbury Ice Arena's Open House

DANBURY, CT-It'll be a busy weekend for Scrappy and the Trashers as Danbury' s lone professional sports team will be at the Danbury Ice Arena's Open House from 1-5pm and at the popular Taste of Danbury on Sunday from Noon-7pm.
Scrappy and members of the front office will be at the Danbury Ice Arena on Saturday as fans will be able to pick up schedules and get information for the upcoming season. The Trashers Team Shop will also be open and fans will be able to purchase merchandise and/or season tickets (full season and flex plans).
The Trashers will be well represented on Sunday at the Taste of Danbury. Along with Scrappy and the front office staff, fans will be able to meet forward Alex Goupil from Noon-2pm and new Head Coach Paul Gillis from 1pm-3pm. Both Goupil and Gillis will be available to sign autographs.
In the spirit of the Taste of Danbury, all fans will be able to partake in Sno-Cones at the Danbury Trashers booth in exchange for a donation to the American Red Cross that will benefit the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.
The Trashers will open their second season in the United Hockey League on October 21st in Port Huron, with the home opener scheduled for Friday October 28th against Elmira at the Danbury Ice Arena starting at 7:30pm. A complete schedule is available online at http://www.danburytrashers.com.
