Dallas Sidekicks News Release
The Dallas Sidekicks start the 2003-04 preseason with an outdoor exhibition game vs. West Texas A&M University on Tuesday. This is the fifth outdoor exhibition game for the Sidekicks, the second in Canyon. Dallas is 2-0-2 in outdoor games.
RADIO: All Sidekicks regular season games are on KSKY 660 AM as well as at www.dallassidekicks.com. All broadcasts begin fifteen minutes prior to listed kickoff and will last three hours. Pete Stein calls the action with Dev Reeves adding color. John Clemens and Robert Trammel host the halftime and post-game shows. The first broadcast will be the home opener vs. Monterrey Fury, Saturday October 4 at 6:50 PM.
HISTORY vs. WEST TEXAS A&M: This will be second time the Sidekicks have traveled to Canyon to play West Texas A&M in an outdoor exhibition game. The last meeting was held in the latter part of the 1997 CISL season on August 26. The Sidekicks tied the Buffalo 2-2 with goals from WTAMU alum Beau Brown and Israel Rojas. Octavio Heredia and Jared Anderson added goals for the Buffalo.
