Soo Indians News Release
Troy Redmann's shutout of the Youngstown Phantoms on Saturday -- the first, and thus far, only shutout in the NAHL this season -- has earned the Brea, California native selection as the Sher-wood NAHL Defensive Player of the Week. Redmann stopped all 25 shots, including 14 in the final period for the shutout. In that third period, Redmann faced two consecutive power plays just seconds apart, but helped his team kill off all four minutes to preserve the shutout and the victory.
