December 14, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Vermont Frost Heaves News Release

South Burlington, Vt.-With a major nor'easter forecast to wallop New England all day Sunday, and Vermont in Boston to face another kind of blizzard-the Boston Blizzard-on Saturday night, the Frost Heaves and Manchester Millrats have moved their game, originally set for Sunday afternoon, to Monday night, Dec. 17. Tip-off will take place at 7:05 p.m. at Burlington's Memorial Auditorium.

Fans are invited to feel like a kid again: Anyone dressed as Jack Frost and all college and high school students with I.D. are eligible for a walk-up ticket at the kids' price.

All season tickets and previously purchased individual game tickets (reserved and unreserved) for Sunday will be honored on Monday. Fans who have purchased advanced single-game tickets and are unable to use them on Monday may exchange them through the Flynn Regional Box Office for tickets to any other regular-season Burlington home game.

The Frost Heaves' scheduled appearance at Apple Mountain Vermont Gifts on Sunday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. has been cancelled, but Apple Mountain still has a broad selection of team gear that makes for great holiday gifts.

The Millrats, 11-1 and riding atop the ABA Power Rankings, defeated Vermont in overtime in Manchester on Dec. 2, then overcame a 27-point first-quarter deficit to win narrowly in Barre on Dec. 6.

Tickets for any Frost Heaves home game may be purchased at the door beginning one hour before tip-off; by going to flynntix.org; by calling 802-86-FLYNN; or by stopping by the Flynn's main box office at 153 Main Street in Burlington. Groups of 20 or more may call the Frost Heaves' office at 802-860-0082 for discounted rates.

All Frost Heaves games, home and away, are broadcast on WSNO AM 1450 in Barre and WJOY AM 1230 in Burlington, with select games carried on WLVB FM 93.9 in Morrisville. In addition, free Webcasts are available for viewing both live and on demand at vermontfrostheaves.com, where fans can also find an audio stream of the Vermont Frost Heaves Basketball Radio Network.
