Clemente was named the league's top rookie in October and was one of the top candidates for the award again in December. 2.) High Scoring Trio- The Denver Cutthroats went 9-3-2 during the month of December thanks in large part to the offensive contributions of the trio of A.J. Gale, Brad Smyth and Troy Schwab. The three forwards combined to score 56 points (20 goals, 36 assists). Overall, the three skaters rank third, fourth and fifth on the league's scoring list with Gale, Smyth and Schwab taking those positions respectively.
