HENDERSON, Nev. - NBA G League Ignite (0-5) fell to the Santa Cruz Warriors (4-0), 125-101, at The Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nev.

Tyler Smith led the way for Ignite with a final stat line of 21 points and eight rebounds after shooting 9-of-16 from the field. Smith has now finished with at least 15 points in five consecutive games. Thierry Darlan followed behind with a season-high 17 points, six rebounds and three steals. John Jenkins added 15 points and six assists, while Admon Gilder notched his second double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Kendric Davis and Jerome Robinson carried the Warriors with 23 points apiece. Davis added six rebounds and six assists, while Robinson tallied five rebounds, three assists and three steals. Javan Johnson provided 20 points and five rebounds off the bench. Jackson Rowe contributed 17 points, while Usman Garuba posted a double-double (12 points, 16 rebounds).

After a hot start, the Warriors held the early advantage after the first quarter. The Warriors shot 51.1 percent from the field, including 42.5 percent from the three-point line in that span to take a 13-point lead. Ignite continued to battle throughout the second frame to remain in striking distance. With the score at 40-32 with under nine minutes in the half, the Warriors used a 36-17 run to take a 27-point lead at the halfway mark. The Warriors had four players score in double figure in the first half, including Javan Johnson (17), Jerome Robinson (15), Kendric Davis (13) and Donovan Williams (11). Despite several comeback attempts by Ignite, the Warriors weathered the storm and coasted to victory.
