Patchogue, N.Y.- The Strong Island Sound have announced that on Saturday May 5 and Saturday May 12 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, they will be at the Holbrook Costco raising money for Schneider Children's Hospital of New Hyde Park.
For a $5 tax deductible donation, you can go head-to-head with a member of the Sound in a best out of five 3-point shooting contest. Think you have what it takes? Then come on down and have some fun while doing something for a good cause.
Prizes will include official Strong Island Sound gear, passes to future games, and many other prizes! Also, pictures and autographs will be available the entire time throughout the events.
Schneider Children's Hospital of New Hyde Park has been serving the Long Island and New York City communities since 1983. The 154-bed facility cares for children worldwide due to its reputation for excellence in pediatric cancer care, cardiology, digestive disorders, and surgery; as well as patients with hemophilia, cystic fibrosis, leukemia and diabetes.
Don't miss out on a chance to meet and greet players from Long Island's only professional basketball team. The Strong Island Sound are members of the American Basketball Association and promote a family-friendly and affordable atmosphere.
