
Shock Training Camp Opens Thursday

SPOKANE, WA (February 18, 2014) - Spokane Shock Training camp begins Thursday, Feb. 20 at the Shock facility located at 3212 N. Eden Rd, Spokane Valley.
Camp will open on February 20 with entry physicals and begin the following day with two acclamation practices before padded practices begin on Sunday, Feb. 23.
Included during training camp, will be open practices on Thursday, Feb. 27 and Thursday, Mar. 6. Open practices are an opportunity to fans to come and watch the team in action prior to the Shock's first game on Mar. 15 against Iowa.
Also a part of training camp, media day is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25. A second media day, complete with ownership representation and coach and player interviews, will be held on Mar. 7. Time and location for the second media day will be announced at a later date.
The roster currently sits at 35 men, but will be cut down to 28 men on Saturday, Mar. 1, and then the final 24 men on Saturday, Mar. 8 at the conclusion of training camp. Final roster must be turned into the League by 5:00 PM CT on Saturday, Mar. 8.
Single game ticket sales for the 2014 Shock season will open on February 20 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at any TicketsWest Box Office location, online online at www.ticketswest.com, by phone at 800-325-SEAT, or through the Shock Ticket Office at 509-242-7462.
