WHY WE CARE
Hunger is hitting home in Spokane and Kootenai counties where nearly one of every six people - and one of every four children - regularly run short of the food they need to lead healthy, active lives.
Second Harvest provides more than 900,000 pounds of free food every month to fight hunger in Spokane and Kootenai counties at a time when unemployment is high and government assistance programs are being cut.
Like many of the 250 partner food pantries and meal programs throughout the region that receive free food from Second Harvest, Post Falls Food Bank continues to see an increase in demand for emergency food. Post Falls Food Bank now distributes food supplies to an average of 3,850 hungry people every month - including about 1,347 children.
As a proud member of the Inland Northwest, the Spokane Shock are All In to help these organizations feed our community.
TICKETSWEST PROMO CODE
For each ticket purchased to the June 21st Shock home game using promo code "SHOCKHUNGER" via TicketsWest, the Spokane Shock will donate all net proceeds to these organizations.
