
Shock posts greatest comeback in WNBA history

The Detroit Shock overcame a 25-point deficit Sunday vs. Los Angeles, marking the greatest comeback in WNBA history.
After trailing 35-10 with 7:11 left in the first half, the Shock cut the Sparks' lead to 13 points at halftime. The Shock continued to surge in the second half and with 7:27 left to play in the game, took the lead for good on a Chandi Jones three-pointer.
Detroit outscored Los Angeles, 47-28, in the second half led by Deanna Nolan, who finished with 22 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three steals.
The previous comeback record was held by Detroit, which overcame a 23-point deficit over Indiana on June 9, 2004.
