TEAM EFFORT
The Sting had one of their best performances of 2005 as they defeated New York 67-61 on Saturday night. The Sting finished the game shooting 51.0% from the floor. It was only the second time this season Charlotte has shot 50% or higher. Charlotte also outrebounded New York 24-21.

In addition, four players (Staley, Smith, Sutton-Brown and Smith) finished in double figures for the Sting, the first time it has happened this season. Sutton-Brown and Staley each recorded new season-highs with 16 points each.

STING D
The Sting have one of the top defenses in the league and hold opponents to just 66.3 points per game, fourth best in the league. The Sting also allow the fewest rebounds, holding their opponents to just 28.5 per game.

DISHING ASSISTS
After averaging 3.0 assists in the first three games, Sting guard Dawn Staley has averaged 6.8 assists in the last eight games. Staley currently ranks third in the WNBA in assists averaging 5.7 assists per game.

FEASTER HEATING UP
After averaging 7.7 points and shooting 30.0% (15-50) in her first seven games, Allison Feaster has averaged 10.7 points and shot 59.1% (13-22) from the field in the last three games.

SUTTON-BROWN HONORED
Sting center Tammy Sutton-Brown was honored with the WNBA's Community Assist Award at halftime of the Sting vs. Liberty game on June 25. Sutton-Brown received the award from WNBA President Donna Orender in recognition of her work in the community throughout the offseason.

FEASTER HITS 2,000 POINT MARK
Sting guard Allison Feaster recorded the 2,000th point of her WNBA career last week vs. San Antonio. She joins teammates Tangela Smith and Sheri Sam as members of the 2,000 point club. She also becomes the 32nd player in the league to reach that plateau.

CATCH THE STING ON TV THIS WEEK!
C-SET will broadcast the Sting at Washington game on Thursday, June 30 at 7 p.m.

Tune in as Steve Martin and Stephanie Ready call the action courtside. C-SET can be seen in Charlotte on Time Warner Digital Cable Channel 150 and in Rock Hill on Comporium Digital Cable Channel 207.

BOBCATS TO PICK 5TH AND 13TH IN DRAFT
The Charlotte Bobcats have the 5th and the 13th selections in the 2005 NBA Draft, which takes place on Tuesday, June 28.
