
Shock help show off Spokane to CBS viewers

June 29, 2006- Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock have been invited to participate in the CBS's "THE EARLY SHOW," during their broadcast from Spokane Friday morning.
The CBS Early Show has been traveling across the country as a part of "The Great American Vacation," and they picked Spokane as one of their 16 nationwide stops. CBS News weather anchor Dave Price will be on-hand to broadcast his forecast from the Lilac city. Members of the Spokane Shock Dance Team and SHOX the FOX have been invited to attend the taping of the broadcast that will air later that morning on CBS at 7 AM PST, while airing live on the East Coast.
"We invited some of our season ticket holders to attend as audience members and so we are excited to show off our fans and the city that we love," said Kevin Maloney, Director of Communications for the Spokane Shock.
The Shock travel to Arkansas this weekend to take on the Twisters on Saturday July 1st with a 5 PM PST kick-off. You can catch all of the action on 105.7 THE BUZZARD with Larry Weir calling the play-by play.
The Shock's next home game is coming up on July 8th as they host the Amarillo Dusters. Plenty of great seats are still available and can be purchased through any TicketsWest outlet.
