
Shock and Seahawks to Host Pregame Events

Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock and the Seattle Seahawks are once again teaming up for the Play 60 Tour. Prior to this Saturday's game, the Seahawks are hosting a fan fest from 12-2 PM that will include appearances by members of the Seattle Seagals and the Blue Thunder, the Seahawks' drumline. This free event will take place next door to Joe Albi Stadium at the Dwight Merkel Athletic Complex Soccer Fields, 5701 North Assembly Street. This event is open to kids of all ages.
Immediately following fan fest, former Seahawk Nesby Glasgow and members of the West Valley High School Football Coaching Staff will host the Gatorade Junior Training Camp. The camp is open to kids between the ages 8-14.The goal of the camp is to provide first-rate football instruction and life skills messages that focus on self-improvement. Space is limited and will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Registration will begin at 1:30 and the camp will run from 2-4 PM.
During this time, the SeaGals will host a free Cheerleading camp for young girls and members of the Blue Thunder will be on hand.
Tickets for Saturday's Joe Abli Stadium Summer Classic are on sale now and can be purchased by contacting TicketsWest. Kickoff for the game is at 6 PM and the gates will open at 4 PM.
