
Shock Add Trio of Linemen to 2016 Roster

SPOKANE, Washington (September 26, 2015) - The Shock have announced the addition of three additional players to their 2016 IFL roster. Defensive lineman Tonga Takai, offensive lineman Isaiah Tuiasosopo, and two-way lineman Mauola Malaga.
Tonga Takai (DL, 6-2, 320, Montana) joins the Shock for his rookie season as a member of the IFL. Takai was a three year starter at the University of Montana and played in a total of 41 contests over his four collegiate seasons. He recorded 117 total tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, and two forced fumbles and earned All-Big Sky honors twice. After his collegiate career, Takai spent time with the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs. He is originally from Honolulu, Hawaii.
Mauola Malaga (DL/OL, 6-2, 340, Alcorn State) joins the Shock for his rookie season as member of the IFL. Malaga played his collegiate football at Alcorn State University (MS). In his first three years, Malaga saw action in 26 total contests. After his collegiate career, he spent time with the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs. He is originally from Pago Pago, America Samoa.
Isaiah Tuiasosopo (OL, 6-3, 330, Austin Peay State) joins the Shock for his first season as a member of the IFL. Isaiah played all four of his collegiate football seasons at Austin Peay State (TN) where he saw action in 43 total contests. He played his first two seasons as a defensive tackle, Isaiah transitioned to the offensive line (center). After his collegiate career, Isaiah spent time with the NFL's Carolina Panthers and later had stints with the LA KISS and New Orleans VooDoo during the 2015 AFL season. He is originally from Pago Pago, America Samoa.
