April 16, 2009 - Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced today that WR Johnny Walker has been assigned to their roster.

Walker, 6-0 190, finished his collegiate career at Colorado State, where he collected 2,213 career receiving yards (fifth in school history) on 172 career receptions (eighth in the Mountain West Conference all-time) including six touchdowns.

The speedy Walker was also used on special teams as a punt returner collecting 303 yards on 32 returns with one touchdown.

Walker is not expected to play in this Saturday's game against the Burn in Boise. The game can be heard on 105.7 THE PEAK with Larry Weir and Paul Sorensen starting at 5:30 PM PST.
